John managed credit and trade finance using various trade structures such as LCs, pre shipment bank covered Promissory Notes and credit insurance for one of the wold's largest bulk shippers. During this time we had zero defaults or significant payment problems. Payments were effected within targets and port efficiency, enforcing trade finance requirements, was not impacted through good communication and judgement.

John modified and cleaned up our existing data structure for much easier data entry going forward using lookups and dropdowns, and then it is now consolidated automatically using Power Query. The process we now have is vastly less labour intensive to update and maintain and the reporting including the cash forecasting is quick, very automatic to produce, interactive and valuable for management.
